These terms apply to your use of Timberwolves Today. They describe the site as it currently operates, in its pre-launch state, and they will be reviewed again before launch.

Acceptable use

You are welcome to read, link to, quote from, and share this site. You agree not to:

• Copy or republish our articles in substantial part, whether on a website, in a newsletter, or through an aggregator or feed, without permission.
• Scrape or bulk-download the site, or use automated tools in a way that degrades its performance or availability for other readers.
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to the site, its infrastructure, or any data it holds, or to probe or test its security without our written permission.
• Use the site to distribute malware, spam, or unlawful material.
• Remove, obscure, or alter attribution, image credits, or correction notices when reproducing anything from the site under permission or fair use.
• Present our content as your own, or as endorsed by us, a team, or a league when it is not.

Our content is editorial and general in nature

Timberwolves Today publishes sports journalism, analysis, and opinion. Everything here is general information and commentary about basketball. It is not professional advice of any kind, and in particular:

• Nothing on this site is financial, legal, medical, or betting advice, and it should not be used as the basis for any wager or financial decision.
• Analysis and projections are interpretations of available evidence, not predictions of fact. They can be wrong.
• Sports information changes quickly. Rosters, injuries, contracts, and schedules can be superseded within hours of publication.

We work hard to be accurate. We do not warrant that every article is free of error, and we correct mistakes through the process described on ourAbout page. The site is provided on an as-is basis, and to the extent permitted by law we exclude implied warranties about its availability, accuracy, or fitness for a particular purpose.

Copyright and licensed assets

Original text, analysis, and design on this site are our copyright, except where stated otherwise.

Images

Images are used under licence, under the terms of a permissive licence, or with permission, and each carries a credit stating its source and basis of use. Those credits are part of the licence terms and must not be stripped.

Third-party material

Quotations, statistics, and excerpts from other publications remain the property of their owners and are used with attribution for reporting and commentary.

Team and league marks

Team names, logos, uniforms, and other marks belong to their respective owners and are used on this site for identification, reporting, and commentary only.

If you believe material on this site infringes your rights, tell us with enough detail to identify the item and we will review it and remove or correct it where appropriate. The channel for such notices will be published on the contact page before launch; the addresses listed there are currently reserved and not yet monitored.

Linking to and quoting from us

• You may link to any page on this site without asking.

No affiliation

Timberwolves Today is an independent publication. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or associated with the National Basketball Association, the Minnesota Timberwolves, their ownership, their partners, or any player, agent, or players’ association. Nothing on this site should be read as an official statement by any of them.

Comments and reader contributions

Comments are not active on this site. There is no comment system running, and no reader submissions are being accepted or published. If we introduce comments or another contribution feature, we will publish the rules governing them, including moderation and the rights you grant us in anything you post, before the feature opens.

Advertising

Where advertising runs on this site, it is labelled and kept visually distinct from editorial content, and advertisers have no influence over what we publish. Our funding arrangements are described on the about page. We are not responsible for the content of third-party advertisements or for the sites they lead to.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the site develops. The date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision, and continued use of the site after a revision means you accept the updated terms.

Governing law

This section is intentionally incomplete. The governing law and jurisdiction for these terms have not been finalised, and we are not going to name a jurisdiction we have not actually settled on. Publishing an invented or placeholder legal venue would be misleading, and it would not be enforceable in the way readers might assume.

The governing law clause, together with the publishing entity’s details and the named editor identity described on the about page, will be completed and published before launch. Until then, these terms should be read as a statement of our current practice and expectations rather than as a completed legal agreement.
